Michael Dorn Wife: Who Is He Married To? (2026)

Michael Dorn, best known as the Klingon officer Worf on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, has been married for decades, though he guards his private life closely. His wife is widely reported to be Kelly Dorn; the pair were photographed together at a film premiere in Los Angeles in May 2001, which is when Dorn publicly confirmed he was married. No wedding date or children have been publicly confirmed.

Who Is Kelly Dorn?

Very little public information exists about Kelly Dorn. Entertainment publications that have covered the actor's personal life consistently give her name as Kelly Dorn, but no verified biography, age, or profession has been publicly documented. Dorn himself has kept details of his marriage out of interviews for decades, only confirming his married status when he was photographed with his wife in 2001. The couple maintains a low profile and is rarely seen together at public events or conventions. Unlike many celebrity spouses, Kelly Dorn does not appear to maintain a public presence of her own, and there are no widely known interviews or profiles featuring her.

Marriage Timeline

Dorn publicly confirmed he was married in 2001, but no verified wedding date has ever been published. Some low-quality websites have offered conflicting claims about when and to whom he married, but none of those claims come from verifiable sources or from Dorn himself. What is consistently documented is that as of 2026, Dorn's marriage to Kelly Dorn is still reported as current, with no public reports of a divorce or separation. For much of his career, Dorn kept his personal life so private that the public did not even know whether he was married until he appeared with his wife in 2001.

Children

Michael Dorn has no publicly confirmed children. Multiple entertainment publications list his number of children as none, and Dorn has never discussed having children in interviews. No names of children have been credibly reported anywhere. Anyone reading claims about Dorn's children should treat them with caution, as no verifiable source has documented any.
